Daisy Edgar-Jones Wore Custom Vivienne Westwood to the "Sense and Sensibility" Premiere
Daisy Edgar-Jones wore custom Vivienne Westwood and archival 1877 Boucheron jewels to the London premiere of "Sense and Sensibility."
Daisy Edgar-Jones brought old-world romance to London for her latest big premiere. The "Normal People" and "Twisters" star arrived at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on September 15 for the premiere of "Sense and Sensibility," in which she plays Elinor Dashwood opposite Esmé Creed-Miles, and once again turned to her longtime red carpet partner Vivienne Westwood for the occasion.
Daisy wore a custom champagne-toned silk gown designed by creative director Andreas Kronthaler, featuring a plunging sweetheart neckline with dramatic bow-tied straps knotted at each shoulder. The bodice gathered into a cinched waist before flowing into a soft, draped skirt with a thigh-high front slit and a train that pooled behind her, an effortlessly romantic silhouette with just enough structure to feel modern rather than costume-like.
The real showstopper, though, was her jewelry. Styled by Dani Michelle, Daisy wore an archival Boucheron piece from the house's Private Collection, a moody moss agate pendant necklace dating back to 1877, paired with a matching pink agate pinky ring from the same era. The antique stones added a rich, storied touch that felt right at home alongside a period literary adaptation. She finished the look with strappy metallic heels and wore her brunette hair down in loose, tousled waves with soft face-framing pieces, keeping her makeup warm and natural.
This marks Daisy's latest fashion moment in a press tour that's been full of them, she's worn several Vivienne Westwood looks throughout promotion for the film, each one subtly nodding to the story's period roots without leaning into costume. Directed by Georgia Oakley and also starring CaitrÃona Balfe, Frank Dillane, and Fiona Shaw, "Sense and Sensibility" hits UK theaters September 25 and US theaters October 16.
