Débora Nascimento Wore Ivory Ruffled Helo Rocha Gown at Venice Film Festival

Débora Nascimento brought serious drama to the Lido this weekend. The Brazilian actress, known for her work in telenovelas like "Além do Tempo" and "Salve-se Quem Puder," along with her growing presence on the international red carpet circuit, walked the carpet Sunday for the premiere of "The Echo Chamber" at Sala Grande during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, alongside castmates from "Hombre al Agua," including Diego Luna, Ricky Martin and Gael García Bernal.

Nascimento wore a gown from Brazilian designer Helo Rocha's Spring/Summer 2027 collection, and the piece is a study in contrast and texture. Up top, oversized ivory ruffles cascade off both shoulders and across a plunging neckline, layering fabric in a soft, almost cloud-like way that partially reveals a sheer nude underlay beneath. The ruffled detailing continues asymmetrically down one side of the fitted bodice and hip before giving way to a sleek, body-skimming nude skirt underneath, finishing in a long, sculptural train that pooled dramatically behind her on the red carpet.

She wore her dark curls swept up into a loose, textured updo with soft face-framing tendrils, keeping the focus on the sculptural ruffles up top. Her makeup stayed warm and glowing, with soft definition around the eyes and a naturally flushed cheek. She kept jewelry minimal, just a delicate ring and bracelet, letting the gown's texture do most of the talking, and finished the look with simple nude pointed-toe pumps that elongated the silhouette without competing with the dramatic train.

Between the sculptural ruffle work and the sheer, second-skin skirt underneath, Nascimento's look stood out as one of the more architecturally interesting gowns of this year's festival, striking a balance between soft romanticism and body-conscious glamour.
