Emma Corrin Wore Sheer Black One-Shoulder Gown to the McQueen Show at London Fashion Week

Emma Corrin went all in on dark glamour for the McQueen show at London Fashion Week. The English actor, best known for playing Princess Diana in The Crown (a role that won them a Golden Globe), also starred in My Policeman, Lady Chatterley's Lover and Deadpool & Wolverine. They sat front row on Sunday, September 20, at a show that was a big moment for the brand.

The show was McQueen's first official London Fashion Week schedule slot since 2001. Creative director Seán McGirr brought the Spring/Summer 2027 collection to the vaulted Undercroft at Lincoln's Inn Chapel in Holborn, with a moody, grungy look. Corrin's outfit fit that mood well.

Corrin wore a sheer, sweeping black gown with a high neck and a one-shoulder design. The bodice was made of sheer tulle wrapped in diagonal bands, giving it a layered, almost sculpted look, and a fitted black collar sat at the neck. The single long sleeve ended in a soft, frayed edge. Below the waist, the dress opened into a pleated tulle skirt with a thigh-high slit and a long, trailing train. The slit showed off a delicate tattoo on their leg, and the dress balanced sheer and solid parts without looking too fussy.

The styling stayed simple so the gown could take center stage. Corrin wore their short hair slicked back with a little lift at the front, and their makeup was fresh and natural with glowing skin and a soft pink lip. There was no visible jewelry, and the long skirt covered the shoes.

Corrin wasn't the only famous face there. Jade Thirlwall, Lila Moss and Emilia Clarke were also in the front row, and Florence Welch, Alexa Chung and Georgia May Jagger were among the guests. London Fashion Week runs from September 17 to 21 and focuses on Spring/Summer 2027 collections.
