Florence Pugh Wore Dior Fall 2026 Brocade Jacket to East of Eden London Photocall

Florence Pugh brought a burst of color to a very gray London skyline for the East of Eden photocall on September 23. The Oscar-nominated actress, who executive produces and stars as Cathy Ames in the Netflix limited series, posed on a rooftop with co-stars Christopher Abbott, Mike Faist and showrunner Zoe Kazan, all with the London Eye in the background.

Pugh wore a piece from Dior's Fall 2026 collection: a richly patterned, multicolored brocade jacket with a fitted waist and a flared, coat-dress shape that hit well above the knee. Cream shearling trim ran along the cuffs and hem, and the jacket was worn belted over a crisp white button-up with an oversized pointed collar. The dense embroidered pattern, mixing gold, pink and blue threadwork, gave the outfit most of its visual weight, while the white collar peeking out kept things from feeling too busy. It's not the jacket's first time on a red carpet either. Anya Taylor-Joy wore the same piece to the LVMH Prize event back in March 2026.

Pugh finished the look with pale pink bow-detail heels and a black bow-trimmed headband holding back her waves, giving the whole outfit a playful, slightly retro edge. Her makeup, done by longtime collaborator Alex Babsky, stayed soft and natural.

The photocall came a day after the cast attended an East of Eden event at the British Library in London on September 21. The seven-episode series is Kazan's modern take on John Steinbeck's novel and carries extra weight for her, since her grandfather, Elia Kazan, directed the original 1955 film starring James Dean. East of Eden also stars Hoon Lee, Tracy Letts, Ciarán Hinds, Martha Plimpton, Joseph Zada and Joe Anders, and premieres on Netflix October 1.
