Florence Pugh Wears Archival Rodarte FW19 for ‘East of Eden’ London Photocall

Florence Pugh brought a dose of archival fashion to London while promoting her new Netflix series East of Eden, stepping out in a striking Rodarte look from the label's Fall 2019 collection.

The Oscar-nominated actress attended the photocall and Q&A at the British Library on September 21, 2026, joining co-stars Christopher Abbott and Mike Faist, as well as series co-showrunner, writer and executive producer Zoe Kazan. The British Library hosted the special event ahead of the series' October 1 premiere on Netflix.

For the occasion, Pugh wore an archival Rodarte FW19 ensemble consisting of an iridescent pleated blouse and matching high-waisted palazzo trousers. The blouse was the real showstopper, featuring a milky ivory tone, semi-sheer pleated fabric and a dramatic layered capelet collar that fanned out around her shoulders.

The high neckline gave the outfit an almost Victorian feel, while the glossy, finely pleated texture brought a more modern edge. The same pleating continued through the wide-leg trousers, creating a long, fluid silhouette. A bold Rodarte logo belt cinched the waist and provided a sharp contrast against the otherwise soft, ethereal palette.

Pugh kept the accessories relatively focused, finishing the look with Bulgari Tubogas earrings crafted in yellow gold with pavé diamond details.

Her beauty look was equally polished. Hairstylist Hyungsun Ju created a sleek, swept-back pompadour-inspired hairstyle, leaving her face completely unobstructed. Makeup artist Alex Babsky kept the complexion fresh while emphasizing her brows and eyes with defined liner and finishing with a soft lip.

Known for films including Little Women, Midsommar, Oppenheimer and Black Widow, Pugh stars as Cathy Ames in East of Eden, a seven-episode adaptation of John Steinbeck's classic novel. The series is co-created by Zoe Kazan and reimagines the multigenerational Trask family story with Pugh at its center.
