Kendall Jenner Channels 1960s Italian Glamour for A Rabbit’s Foot

Kendall Jenner is stepping into a more cinematic side of fashion with A Rabbit’s Foot Issue 16, starring in La Passeggiata, a stylish editorial and short film inspired by the glamorous world of 1960s Italian cinema.

Directed and written by Fatima Khan, the project places Jenner in a series of carefully staged scenes inspired by films including L’Avventura, 8½, Red Desert, Cléo from 5 to 7 and Last Year at Marienbad. The idea is built around the Italian tradition of la passeggiata—the evening stroll—and transports that familiar ritual to Los Angeles.

The fashion is just as striking. Jenner wears a series of Bottega Veneta pieces alongside specially sourced vintage designs, giving the shoot an effortless yet distinctly retro feel. For the final atelier scene, seen on the cover of Issue 16, she wears a complete Bottega Veneta Fall/Winter 2026 look, finished with a Bottega Veneta Sofia Pump and vintage earrings sourced from 4 Element.

Other looks play with completely different sides of the character. One features a vintage Jil Sander dress with a vintage knit jumper and Sofia pumps, while another pairs a Bottega Veneta shirt with a vintage trench coat, skirt, pumps, sunglasses and a vintage pearl necklace. The more intimate “Reflections” scene sees Jenner in a vintage bra, skirt and Calzedonia thigh-high socks, styled with vintage shoes and earrings.

Beauty keeps the mood polished but understated. Jenner wears her brunette hair in several softly styled looks, with Gregory Russell responsible for hair and Ariel Tejada on makeup. The styling team of Alexandra and Mackenzie Grandquist helped bring together the vintage-meets-modern wardrobe.

For Jenner, best known as a supermodel and for her years on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the project also marks an interesting move further into filmmaking. She has spoken about her love of cinema and the collaborative nature of making movies.

Shot by Rasmus Weng Karlsen, La Passeggiata turns Jenner into a mysterious 1960s-inspired movie heroine. The accompanying film was shot on 16mm colour and monochrome film, with additional Super 8 footage, giving the imagery a nostalgic, almost dreamlike quality.
