Kerry Washington has never been shy about a corset, and her look for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opening night gala proved it again. The actress arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 19, wearing Wiederhoeft Spring 2026 ready-to-wear, and the soft, dusty color mix had everyone looking twice.

If you need a quick refresher, Washington is the actress and producer best known as Olivia Pope on Scandal. She also has film credits like Ray and Django Unchained, plus producing work on Netflix's The Six Triple Eight.

The outfit: The top was a rose-mauve sequin corset with a draped cowl neckline, thin straps and little ribbon ties down the front, with a floral brooch sitting right at the bust. Its hem curved into a point over a long gray-green skirt that trailed into a soft train. It's a two-tone look, but the shades blend together really nicely.

Wiederhoeft is the New York label of designer Jackson Wiederhoeft, and the Spring 2026 collection, called Lost Works, was shown salon-style at his Garment District atelier during NYFW, with corsetry as the main focus. One look in that lineup reportedly paired a blush corset with a slouchy pistachio skirt, which sounds a lot like the base of this one.

Accessories: She stayed in the same pink family with a beaded blush clutch, peach-toned drop earrings, a couple of rings and deep oxblood almond nails. No jewelry or clutch credits have been shared yet, and her shoes stayed hidden under that train.

Hair and makeup: Her hair was slicked back into a tidy updo with a few sculpted waves left at the temples. The glam stayed warm and glowy, with bronzed eyes and a glossy nude lip.

The event: George Lucas and Mellody Hobson hosted the gala ahead of the museum's public opening on September 22. The Exposition Park campus covers 13 acres and has more than 30 galleries. Washington was photographed with her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, among a guest list that included Oprah Winfrey, Camila Cabello, Queen Latifah and Kim Kardashian.
