Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton Coordinate in Saint Laurent at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Opening

Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton showed up to one of LA's biggest cultural events of the year in coordinated style, without ever actually posing together. The SKIMS founder and the Formula 1 champion both attended the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art's opening night gala on September 19 in Los Angeles, each dressed head-to-toe in Saint Laurent.

Kim wore a fully sequined black cheongsam gown pulled straight from Yves Saint Laurent's Fall/Winter 2004 collection, designed by Tom Ford during his final season at the house. The figure-hugging piece featured a high mandarin collar with a dramatic teardrop keyhole cutout at the chest, capped sleeves, and intricate Chinese-inspired motifs, fish, waves, and floral roundels, worked in gold and pink sequins against the black base. The design drew on YSL's 1977 Chinoises collection, and this exact dress has real fashion pedigree: it was previously worn by Céline Dion at the 2004 World Music Awards and by actress Gong Li at Cannes that same year.

Styled by Law Roach, Kim paired the gown with Oscar Heyman earrings and a Zydo ring, wearing her dark hair slicked back into a sleek low style that let the dress's keyhole neckline take full focus.

Lewis, meanwhile, opted for a custom Saint Laurent look by current creative director Anthony Vaccarello, an all-black tailored suit with a structured, oversized blazer, worn open over a plain black top and paired with wide-leg trousers and patent leather shoes. He finished the look with dark sunglasses and layered silver jewelry.

The gala, co-chaired by names including Tom Cruise, Steven Spielberg, and Pharrell Williams, celebrated George Lucas and Mellody Hobson's long-awaited museum ahead of its public opening on September 22. The couple's matching Saint Laurent moment came just a day after they were spotted riding Lime bikes together in London.
