Lisa Wore Custom Louis Vuitton Velvet Set at "Always Lalisa" TIFF Premiere
Lisa wore a custom brown velvet Louis Vuitton set with a studded Man Ray collar necklace to the TIFF premiere of "Always Lalisa."
Lisa made sure her big night had a fashion moment to match. The BLACKPINK member, currently stepping into a new chapter as a solo artist and actress following her debut in "The White Lotus" Season 3, walked the red carpet Friday night at the Toronto International Film Festival for the world premiere of "Always Lalisa," Sue Kim's new documentary chronicling the year Lisa stepped away from BLACKPINK to launch her solo career.
For the premiere, Lisa wore a custom Louis Vuitton ensemble designed by creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, done in rich chocolate-brown crushed velvet. The look centers on a cropped, bra-inspired top with a plunging V-neckline that leaves her midriff fully bare, paired with a matching fitted column skirt that flares into a dramatic train at the floor. A black leather eyelet belt cinches the waist, and long black leather opera gloves added extra polish against all that soft velvet texture.
The real showstopper, though, sat right at her collarbone: a wide, rigid metal collar covered in three rows of domed studs, officially Louis Vuitton's Reinterpretation Man Ray necklace from the house's Fall/Winter collection first shown at the Louvre in March. The Surrealist-inspired design draws from the nail-head studs used in LV's trunk construction, and she paired it with matching Nanogram clip-on earrings, both fashion jewelry rather than fine jewelry, but with just as much visual impact.
She wore her brunette hair pulled into a high ponytail with soft waves cascading down and wispy bangs framing her face, finished with warm brown eyeshadow, sharp winged liner and a glossy pink lip that tied the whole beauty look back to the outfit's warm palette. Lisa has been a Louis Vuitton House Ambassador since September 2024, and the "Always Lalisa" premiere continues a big week for her fashion-wise, following an appearance just days earlier at Bvlgari's Serpenti Infinito event in New York wearing a black lace Belik corset gown and the brand's new Serpenti Flag necklace.
