Nicola Peltz Wore Purple Balenciaga Haute Couture Gown at Venice Kinéo Awards

Nicola Peltz had herself a full Cinderella moment in Venice. The actress, known for "Bates Motel," "Transformers: Age of Extinction" and her upcoming indie drama "Prima," walked the Kinéo Awards red carpet on Saturday at Sala Grande during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, and this one came with a trophy attached, not just a photo call.

Peltz was there to receive the festival's Rising Star Award, and she picked a gown that matched the occasion in scale. The dress is Balenciaga Fall 2026 Haute Couture, designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli, in a deep, saturated purple that reads almost eggplant depending on the light. The bodice is sculpted and asymmetric, draping over just one shoulder with a soft hooded fold of fabric at the top, then narrowing into a fitted midsection with cutouts carved into either side of the waist, flashing a bit of skin between the top and the skirt. From there, the gown explodes into a massive, voluminous bubble skirt with a long train trailing behind her, giving the whole look a fairytale, almost otherworldly quality that a few outlets compared to something out of "Dune."

She kept her hair pulled back into a sleek, low ponytail, letting the dramatic shoulder draping and neckline stay the focus rather than competing with loose waves. Her makeup was soft and glowing, with a warm, barely-there flush and glossy nude lip. Jewelry was minimal, just a few delicate rings, since a dress with this much architecture really didn't need much else layered on top.

Her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, walked the carpet right beside her in a classic black-and-white tuxedo, keeping things simple so her gown could carry the whole moment. Accepting her award, Peltz thanked her family, saying, "You always believe in me. To have your support is the reason I can reach for the stars in the first place." It capped off a big year for the actress as she continues building out her career behind and in front of the camera.
