Selena Gomez brought serious trophy energy to the Emmys, and honestly, it worked perfectly given the night. The "Only Murders in the Building" star and Rare Beauty founder hit the red carpet at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14, and her look had people instantly drawing comparisons to the golden Emmy statue itself.

Gomez wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown designed by creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, a strapless, figure-hugging piece covered edge to edge in geometric gold plating arranged in horizontal rows. The bodice cinched in tight at the waist before the gown flared out into a mermaid silhouette that pooled dramatically at the floor.
