Paris Fashion Week opened with a very glamorous dinner, and Tiffany & Co.
was behind it. On Monday evening, guests toured the "I Am Only a Pencil"
presentation at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, then sat down to dinner in the
museum's Schwarzman Fashion Galleries, with food from chef Romain Meder. The
night marked a new four-year partnership to preserve the work of late jewelry
designer Jean Schlumberger, including more than 5,000 drawings and just as
many archive documents. Schlumberger died in 1987 and was famous for his
Tiffany pieces, worn by clients like Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline
Kennedy.
The guest list was full of familiar faces. Diane Kruger, the German actress
and former model known for Inglourious Basterds, wore Erdem Resort 2027. The
dress has a 1920s-inspired shape with a dramatic pannier-style skirt. She
pinned a Bird on a Rock brooch with a kunzite of over 33 carats to a velvet
choker, which really made the piece stand out.
Anya Taylor-Joy, the Queen's Gambit star and a global ambassador for Tiffany
& Co., picked a silver strapless gown with a crinkled finish and a sheer
lace panel. Her Bird on a Rock necklace carried over 14 carats of diamonds and
rubies.
Model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley went with Saint Laurent tailoring,
a long double-breasted jacket and wide-leg trousers worn without a top, so her
Tiffany necklace had space to shine. Greta Lee chose a quiet Jil Sander look,
while Amanda Seyfried wore a simple black column dress with a pavé Wings
necklace in platinum and diamonds.
Cynthia Erivo turned up in a dark Khaite leather outfit, and Camille Cottin
wore Dior with a D-buckle belt. Chase Sui Wonders picked a black satin
Sportmax Fall 2026 dress. Adria Arjona wore black Philosophy di Lorenzo
Serafini, and Léna Mahfouf was in a white cut-out Revolve maxi dress. Alison
Oliver added a soft lavender column dress to a mostly black room. Have a
