Vittoria Ceretti wearing custom Giorgio Armani Privé velvet gown at Venice Film Festival

Vittoria Ceretti proved once again why she's one of the most in-demand faces in fashion. The Italian supermodel walked the red carpet Thursday for the world premiere of "Wild Horse Nine," Martin McDonagh's new film starring John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi and Parker Posey, and she did it in a gown that took a beat to fully process.

Ceretti wore a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown, and the construction is really the story here. The bottom half is a sleek, structured column skirt in black silk velvet that skims her frame all the way down, with a high slit cut into the back for movement. The top half is where it gets interesting: an illusion bodice made from sheer black tulle, scattered with thousands of tiny black crystals that fade from dense at the neckline to lighter near the waist, creating a soft ombré sparkle effect against the skin. It's a dramatic contrast, matte velvet against barely-there sparkle, and it's exactly the kind of quiet-but-bold styling Ceretti is known for.

She kept her hair simple and sleek, worn down and straight with a deep side part, letting it fall past her shoulders without much added texture. Makeup followed the same understated approach: soft smoky eyes, a flush of rosy blush and a nude lip, nothing competing with the gown. For jewelry, she chose Crivelli bracelets and earrings in white gold and diamonds, with some coverage crediting Boucheron earrings as well, plus minimal strappy heels that kept the whole look grounded rather than flashy. Stylist Amir Dayi is credited with pulling the look together.

Ceretti, one of the fashion industry's top working models and a longtime face of Chanel campaigns, arrived at the Lido the same evening Kendall Jenner made her own Venice debut in a vintage Armani gown, giving the brand a notable double moment on the same red carpet. "Wild Horse Nine" is set just before the 1973 Chilean coup and reportedly received a lengthy standing ovation at its Sala Grande premiere. It hits theaters November 6.
