Billie Eilish poses with her eyes closed beside the gold bust-shaped Eilish Intense perfume bottle in the new fragrance campaign

Billie Eilish has a new set of campaign images for Eilish Intense, and they’re a lot moodier than your typical perfume ad. The picture is mostly in shadow, with just a warm amber glow falling on her face and the gold bottle in front of her.

She leans over a pale tabletop with her eyes closed and her head tilted down, as if she’s taking in the scent. Her dark auburn hair falls over one side of her face. The only thing on show in the light is her skin, a few rings, and the sculptural bottle. The “Eilish Intense” lettering sits in the top left corner in a rose-gold script, with “Billie Eilish, The New Fragrance” printed underneath.

The styling is simple and dark. Billie wears a black long-sleeve top with a deep plunging neckline, which melts into the black background so everything stays focused on the product. She wears several rings, including a few stacked on one hand, with a chunky signet-style ring on another finger. Her makeup is soft and natural, and the whole picture feels more like a portrait than an ad.

Intense is a deeper take on her original Eilish eau de parfum, and she’s described the two as day and night scents. “I love to wear the original for everyday activities and Intense at night,” she said. It’s an amber gourmand that opens with red berries and mandarin wrapped in sugared petals, moves to creamy vanilla, soft spice and cocoa, and finishes with warm musks, tonka bean and woods.

The bottle keeps the collection’s abstract, bust-inspired shape, this time in shiny gold, with a gold and iridescent box. The perfume is vegan and PETA-certified cruelty-free, and the box is made with renewable wind energy. It launched in late July on BillieEilish.com, with Ulta Beauty and select international retailers to follow. The 3.4 oz bottle is listed at $88.
