Inde Navarrette fronts Cosmopolitan France's October 2026 issue in a black knit dress.

Inde Navarrette has the cover of Cosmopolitan France's October 2026 issue, and the shoot is delightfully spooky. The 25-year-old Arizona-born actress is known for playing Nikki Freeman in the horror hit Obsession, after earlier roles in Superman & Lois and 13 Reasons Why. Photographer Nas Nixx shot her in a story that mixes romantic clothes with creepy, slightly off-kilter scenes.

The cover look is pure drama. Inde wears a black long-sleeve knit dress with a scoop neckline and a metallic ornament on the shoulder, standing with her hands on her head and black-polished nails. Her dark hair is sleek and center-parted against a golden, baroque backdrop. Inside, the clothes get more playful. She lies on a bright blue carpet in a white boned Miaou corset, Wolford tights and a Léa Waldberg mini skirt in tan and black, with ermine-style motifs that look like a nod to the Breton flag. Her long brunette hair is spread around her, and she holds a jar of jam with raspberry on her hand.

Elsewhere, she wears a crisp white Dior shirt with a Lisa Eisner necklace at an upstairs window. In another shot, she wears a lace-trimmed Dôen dress with Jimmy Choo boots, her hair flying upward against a pale blue wall. A vintage tee with Dôen shorts completes the casual side of the story. Hair was by Kane Bratt, makeup by Kayli Rachelle and nails by Yoko Sakakura, with styling by Jamie Mizrahi. Dior is a favorite for her, as she showed in a metallic Dior Resort 2027 gown at TIFF's Obsession reunion.

The shoot took place on August 6 at the Woodbury-Story House in Altadena, an 1882 mansion said to be haunted and once used by American Horror Story. The team found a fake corpse in the bathroom. Inde arrived at 8:30 a.m. in a white baby-doll dress with her hair loose, and she posed like scenes from a film, from the window with a chandelier to the dining table. After six hours, the magazine surprised her with a "Cosmo Loves Inde" T-shirt, and she put it on right away.

It's a big moment for her. Obsession, directed by Curry Barker for under $750,000, has earned more than $400 million worldwide. Inde won a Critics' Choice Super Award, and Focus Features is campaigning her for Best Actress.

Around the same time as this shoot, she also fronted the Gap Fall 2026 "Denim on Your Own" campaign with Malcolm Todd.
