Jenna Ortega Wears Custom Honey-Gold Torlowei to the Klara and the Sun Premiere at BFI London Film Festival
Jenna Ortega wore a custom honey-gold Torlowei slip dress with a lace cap to the Klara and the Sun premiere at the 2026 BFI London Film Festival.
Jenna Ortega dressed for the title. She wore custom Torlowei in honey-gold to the world premiere of “Klara and the Sun” at the 2026 BFI London Film Festival. It took place at the Royal Festival Hall on Thursday, October 15. Jenna plays Klara, the film’s AI companion lead.
The dress is the Tokoni slip, cut in honey silk satin. The straps are thin and the skirt is long and narrow, with a small train at the hem. Black Leavers lace trims the neckline and bodice, and loose lace florals are scattered down the skirt. The back is bare, so the dress looks just as good from the side.
On her head she wore the Aysha lace cap, a mustard-gold piece that matches the dress. It sat over her crown like a headscarf. Her dark hair was glossy and wavy with a middle part, and the loose ends fell over one shoulder. Makeup was soft and natural: lightly defined eyes and a pink-nude lip. She added only a few small rings. Enrique Melendez styled the look.
It’s a smart choice for this film. Gold and yellow are a nod to the sun in the title, and the black lace gives the dress some edge. The film is Taika Waititi’s adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel. The red carpet drew a big crowd, including Amy Adams, Florence Pugh and Aran Murphy.
