Kate Hudson Wears a Champagne Armani Privé Gown With a Sculptural Ruffle to the 2026 Academy Museum Gala
Kate Hudson wore a beaded champagne Armani Privé Spring 2026 gown with a sculptural ruffle to the 2026 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
Kate Hudson picked a soft look for the Academy Museum Gala, and it still got attention. The actress wore a champagne Armani Privé gown from the Spring 2026 collection, with a big sculpted ruffle that sweeps the length of the dress. Rob & Mariel styled it.
The gown is strapless, with a gently scooped neckline edged in tiny beads. It’s cut close through the body in a blush satin shade that sits somewhere between champagne and nude. Crystal drops are scattered across the bodice and run in a narrow glittering stripe down the front of the skirt. Then there’s the ruffle. It starts at the bust and spirals around the hip and down to the floor in layers of sheer organza, each with a beaded edge. It looks a bit like petals or a seashell, depending on the angle. From the side, it adds shape without overwhelming the slim skirt.
Jewelry was simple and sparkly. Long diamond chandelier earrings, plus a couple of slim rings on her right hand. Her hair did a lot of the work. It was long and blonde, with a deep side part and glossy Old Hollywood waves pinned over one shoulder. For makeup, think sharp black wing liner, glowy skin and a soft rosy-nude lip. It all came together as a clean, classic red carpet look.
Kate is an Oscar-nominated actress, first for Almost Famous and she’s also known for rom-coms like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. These days she stars in the Netflix series Running Point, and she’s the founder of Fabletics. She’s also part of this year’s gala host committee, which makes this a big-night look. Armani Privé is a favourite of hers, and she wore it earlier this year in her jade Armani Privé gown at the Oscars.
The sixth annual Academy Museum Gala was held Saturday night at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. The event raises money for the museum’s exhibitions, screenings and education programmes. Charlize Theron, John Carpenter and Colman Domingo were honoured, and Taylor Swift performed.
