Kristen Wiig Wears a Strapless Black Chanel Mini Dress With Red Pumps in Paris

Kristen Wiig did a little black dress in Paris, and it was all Chanel. The 53-year-old actress, known for Bridesmaids, The Skeleton Twins, Welcome to Me and seven seasons on Saturday Night Live, was one of the front-row guests at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2027 show at the Grand Palais on Monday, October 5. It was a good week to be out, too, since her Apple TV series Palm Royale recently ended after two seasons.

Her dress was a fitted strapless mini in textured black fabric. A white band ran along the neckline with a black scalloped border on top, and another narrow white band finished the hem. A white interlocking double-C logo sat at the center of the bust. She also carried a matching black jacket with white edging over her arm as she posed.

The shoes made the look. Kristen wore bright red pumps with glossy black toe caps, which stood out against the all-black dress. She kept her jewelry to one sparkling bracelet with colorful stones, and her makeup was simple, with dark eyeliner, soft flushed cheeks and a glossy pink lip.

Her hair got a lot of attention too. Kristen skipped her usual blonde and wore her natural espresso brown, with soft highlights, in loose, tousled waves with a center part. The change puts her in good company with other famous brunette actresses, and it's a color that suits her.

The show was called "Free as a Bird" and marked Matthieu Blazy's first year at Chanel. Big glowing bird sculptures hung over the runway, and models walked in tweed suits, tailcoats and coats covered in red sequins. Kristen sat in the front row with Pedro Pascal, Dua Lipa and Nicole, and the four were filmed lip-syncing and dancing along to the music.

Kristen wasn't the only one at the show with a new hair look. Nicole Kidman debuted extra-long curtain bangs in a charcoal Chanel tweed blazer dress.
