Kylie Jenner Wears the $50 Million Jacob & Co. Fantasy Bra

Fifty million dollars. On a bra.

That’s the price tag on the Fantasy Bra Kylie Jenner is wearing for the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Made with Jacob & Co., the show’s official jewelry partner, it’s officially the most valuable Fantasy Bra Victoria’s Secret has ever made. And yes, people have opinions.

First, the facts, because they’re kind of wild. The centerpiece is a 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond, flanked by two white diamonds. Around it sit more than 4,400 natural diamonds, adding up to over 1,370 carats, all set in 18K white and yellow gold. Jacob & Co. says it took 15 artisans more than 1,000 hours to make.

For context, the Fantasy Bra has been a Victoria’s Secret tradition since 1996, when Claudia Schiffer wore the first one. Back in 2000, Gisele Bündchen’s Red Hot Fantasy Bra was valued at $15 million and made it into the Guinness World Records. Kylie’s version more than triples that.

So, Do We Actually Need This?

Short answer? No. Nobody needs a diamond bra. It’s not going to be worn to brunch, and it’s definitely not going in anyone’s laundry basket.

Let’s also be honest about what it is: a very shiny marketing moment. Victoria’s Secret wants people talking about the show, and putting a $50 million bra on one of the most famous women on the planet is a pretty reliable way to do that. It’s working. We’re talking about it right now.

And the timing is awkward. With a lot of people worried about money and the cost of living, a bra worth more than most people will earn in several lifetimes can feel a bit out of touch.

But Here’s the Other Side

Still, writing it off completely feels too easy.

Fashion has always had room for things that are over the top on purpose. Couture gowns that take thousands of hours to embroider. Met Gala looks no one will ever wear again. The Fantasy Bra sits in that same world. It isn’t meant to be practical. It’s meant to make you stop scrolling.

There’s real craft in it, too. Most of that $50 million comes from the diamonds and the hours of skilled handwork, not just hype. Setting thousands of stones by hand so a piece of jewelry can actually move on a runway is hard to do.

And for a lot of longtime fans, the Fantasy Bra is part of the fun. It’s the big reveal everyone waits for, like the final look at a couture show.

Why Kylie?

Kylie isn’t a runway model, which makes her an interesting pick. But she’s one of the most recognizable faces in the world and has built her own beauty empire. If Victoria’s Secret wanted maximum attention, it got exactly the right person. See her full Fantasy Bra look from the show.

Our Take

Do we need these fantasies? Need is a strong word. But fashion has never been only about need. Sometimes it’s about spectacle, skill and a little bit of escapism.

You can find it excessive and still admire the work that went into it. Both things can be true.
