Maya Hawke wore custom Prada to the 6th Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. Her gown was black and silver, covered in beads, crystals and fringe, and it sparkled in every photo.
The dress was a floor-length column with a square neckline and short, sheer cap sleeves. A black base sat underneath, covered from top to bottom in thin vertical strands of tiny crystals that ran like drops of rain. On top of that were clear sequin discs and little clusters of beaded tassels, which gave the whole dress a heavy, three-dimensional texture. The sleeves finished with dangling crystal fringe that swung when she moved. The shape stayed simple and straight, so the beading did the work. It looked a bit like a 1920s flapper dress that got a modern update, and that suits her.
Her hair was honey brown with caramel highlights, parted in the middle with soft, face-framing pieces and loose waves falling past her shoulders. It looked easy and undone, with a few wispy strands around her face. Her makeup was the other detail worth noting: silver glitter on the inner corners of her eyes, a smudge of dark liner, a rosy flush on her cheeks and a soft pink lip. She also wore a ring with a dark stone on one hand.

The gala was held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. Charlize Theron received the Icon Award, John Carpenter the Luminary Award and Colman Domingo the Vantage Award, and Taylor Swift performed.
