Olivia Wilde Wears a Metallic Chanel Jacket and Turquoise Plaid Tweed Skirt in Paris

Olivia Wilde went for Chanel tweed with a shiny twist in Paris. The actress and director, known for House, Tron: Legacy, Booksmart and Don't Worry Darling, is also set to appear alongside Pedro Pascal in Tony Gilroy's upcoming Behemoth!. She was one of many famous faces at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2027 show at the Grand Palais on Monday, October 5.

Her skirt suit was a good example of what Matthieu Blazy has been doing at the house. The cropped jacket was made of silver metallic mesh in shades of blue, red and turquoise, with a rounded neckline and a chunky silver braided trim with bursts of orange along the edges. A few gold coin charms were also tucked into the front. The matching knee-length pencil skirt was in a loose woven plaid, in turquoise, silver, black and white with flecks of yellow, with the same braided trim around the hem. She kept the rest of the outfit very simple, with a plain white tank top underneath.

Her shoes and bag were classic Chanel. Olivia wore black two-tone slingback pumps with mint-green toe caps, with a small interlocking-C on the toe, and carried a small black shoulder bag on a gold chain strap. She wore small gold earrings, and her makeup was soft, with smoky gray liner and a nude lip. Her honey blonde hair was loose in long, soft waves with a gentle center part.

It's not the first time Olivia has dressed for the fashion crowd. She wore a Chloé Pre-Fall 2026 leather jacket and tiered skirt to a New York screening earlier this year.

The collection was called "Free as a Bird" and marked Blazy's first year at the house. It showed tweed loosened into big windowpane checks with mesh panels, red-and-white tiger prints and sheer skirt suits embroidered with beads and flowers. Many hems were frayed or finished with metallic beading, which Olivia's skirt echoed. The front row also included Nicole Kidman, Dua Lipa, Kristen Wiig and Marion Cotillard.
