Penélope Cruz Glows in Floral Chanel at the BFI London Film Festival Premiere of Bunker

Penélope Cruz showed up to the London premiere of Bunker in a very sunny shade of yellow. The Spanish actress, an Oscar winner for Vicky Cristina Barcelona, walked the red carpet at the BFI London Film Festival on Saturday, October 10, in a custom Chanel gown.

The dress was a column shape with wide square straps and a scooped neckline, made from pale yellow lace that faded into a soft orange in places. What really stood out was the decoration. Little hand-made flowers in yellow, white, red and pink were scattered over the whole gown. They looked fuzzy and a bit feathery, and some had dangling tassels. The flowers were thicker around the neckline and straps, then more spread out down the long skirt. It fit closely through the body and straight to the floor.

Her styling kept the focus on the dress. She wore her dark brown hair with soft highlights in a deep side part, with a full fringe swept across her forehead and loose waves falling over one shoulder. Her makeup was warm and glowing, with a rosy lip and defined eyes. For jewelry she chose small, sparkly bow-shaped drop earrings and a ring. She smiled and struck a hands-on-hips pose in front of the Bunker backdrop, and she also posed with director Florian Zeller.

Bunker is a psychological thriller about an architect and his publisher wife, who grow apart after he takes a job designing a luxury bunker for a tech billionaire. Penélope plays Sofia opposite her husband Javier Bardem, who plays Miguel. Stephen Graham, Paul Dano and Patrick Schwarzenegger are also in the cast. It follows its Venice premiere, where she wore a custom red Chanel gown.

She’s been wearing a lot of Chanel lately, including this black taffeta gown with feathers at the La Bola Negra premiere.
