Wunmi Mosaku Wears a Royal Blue Sequined Christian Siriano Gown at The Social Reckoning Premiere

Wunmi Mosaku brought color to the carpet again in New York. The Nigerian-British actress, who won a BAFTA and earned an Oscar nomination for Sinners, is also known for His House, Loki and Lovecraft Country. She wore Christian Siriano to the world premiere of The Social Reckoning at Regal Union Square on Sunday, October 4. In the film she plays Raya, a member of Meta's legal team.

The dress came from Siriano's Fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection and was covered in royal blue sequins. It had a structured, fitted shape with flowing lines and a little asymmetry from the one-shoulder strap, a draped bodice and a high thigh-high slit. The sequins caught the light with every step, and the single strap kept the neckline interesting.

She finished the look with ankle-strap sandal heels with a sparkly crystal band and a pair of Nicole Rose three-tiered diamond dangle earrings. Her hair, by Vernon François, was worn long and full with lots of volume and a center part. Makeup artist Keita Moore gave her a soft violet-blue eyeshadow that matched the dress, warm pink blush and a glossy nude-brown lip. Shameelah Hicks styled the look.

Bold color has become Wunmi's trademark. Her awards season included a bright yellow gown and an electric blue fringed dress, and she also wore a maroon off-the-shoulder gown at the ABFF Honors.

The Social Reckoning is a companion to The Social Network and tells the true story of Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen, played by Mikey Madison. She teams up with Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, played by Jeremy Allen White, to expose the company's internal documents. Jeremy Strong plays Mark Zuckerberg, and Bill Burr and Betty Gilpin are also in the cast. The film opens in theaters on October 9.
