Mckenna Grace Wears Custom Cong Tri Girl on Fire Gown in Berlin

Mckenna Grace set Berlin on fire, and she meant it literally. The actress arrived at the Berlin premiere of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping on November 2, 2026, in a custom Cong Tri gown that was a direct nod to Katniss Everdeen’s famous “Girl on Fire” dress from Catching Fire. Molly Dickson styled her.

From the front, the dress is a halter gown with a keyhole cutout at the neck and a T-shaped strap running down the chest. The bodice is covered in beads and sequins in red, black and gold, laid out like glowing lava. Then comes the skirt, which is the real show. It’s pleated chiffon, fading from black at the hips into bright red at the hem, with patches of orange and yellow that look like embers. It’s huge, too. She lifted it up with both hands like wings, and the skirt really did look like it was bursting into flames, which is exactly what she was going for. She even copied Katniss’ pose.

Her hair matched the theme. Mckenna wore her blonde hair in tight curls, half pulled up under a braided gold headband that looked like a crown. For makeup she went for winged black liner and gold eyeshadow, with a soft rosy lip, and she wore small pearl earrings.

She’s been paying tribute to the series all through the press tour, and one of the best was Mckenna Grace’s Monique Lhuillier gown inspired by Katniss’ wedding dress in Paris.

Mckenna plays District 12 tribute Maysilee Donner in the new prequel.
