Official portraits of Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been released by Kensington Palace.

The adorable and heart warming pictures show a two year Prince George cradling his two-week old baby sister Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, born on May 2, 2015.

Kensington Palace has stated that the set of four pictures were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, at the family's country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk just two weeks after the Princess's birth.

The young prince and princess cuddle up on the sofa, and Prince George seems delighted to be in charge of the bundle of joy.
