The Zendaya x Tommy Hilfiger NYFW Show brings a 70s party on the runway

Unveiling her latest and final collection with Tommy Hilfiger, songstress and actress Zendaya brought a 70s block party on the runway. Presenting her latest collaboration during the ongoing New York Fashion Week, the show was attended by the industry's most known faces and figures and had Gigi Hadid, Meghan Trainor, Bella Hadid, Barbie Ferreira and others in the front row.
The 'Euphoria' actress had the Apollo Theater transformed into a street and as the show started it felt as if one was immediately transported to the 70s with trumpets blaring, and sirens and whistles in the backdrop. An old convertible with a group of musicians brought the concert to the show as models, including Winnie Harlow, Candice Swanepoel and Ashley Graham, began walking down clad in the most sensational of outfits.
The Zendaya x Tommy Hilfiger collection is inspired from 70s street style, and models walked the ramp in dramatic designs that were tailored to classic perfection with modern twists. Zendaya's collection is all about being true to one's own creative self, and sharp suits, flared skirts, slinky bodysuits and disco dresses were sported by the models.
Wide-brim fedora hats and velvet suits were also seen on the runway, and with plenty of dancing, grooving, lip-syncing and more, the show was perhaps the most happening at the NYFW. With the open air row of Harlem townhouses that lined the runway with vintage convertibles blaring loud music, the show was certainly a blast.
