Arriving for the premiere of her biggest feature film role to date, as the singing feline Bombalurina in the new musical Cats, Taylor Swift was a smouldering sight. Held at the Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in New York City, the world premiere had the 30-year-old pop star-turned-actress catch instant attention in her strapless satin gown.
Taylor opted for a whimsical and beautiful Oscar de la Renta Pre-Spring 2020 gown, which was an appliqued ruby floral fil coupé satin creation. In a gorgeous shade of crimson decorated all over with festive floral stitching, the gown stood out on the red carpet, and Taylor put on show her toned arms and slim torso.
The Oscar de la Renta creation also featured a wide burgundy section running over the right side with a thick plant stem separating the two sections of the gown. The pop star, who is also Billboard's Woman of the Decade, had her blonde hair styled into a bun with her fringes framing her face. A glamorous makeup with her signature red lips and a flick of black eyeliner was also worn by the star, who looked incredible at the event.
Taylor, a known lover of cats, plays Bombalurina in the musical, who traditionally has to dance more than many of the other cats in the musical. The songstress has previously starred in small roles in movies 'The Giver' and 'Valentine's Day', but Cats marks her first prominent role.
