Trying out one drugstore mascara after the other, I have seen some pretty great ones including the iconic Maybelline Great Lash Mascara and the pretty popular Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal. Some mascaras hardly fail to impress and most are just dupes of the high-end ones - usually that is the case with drugstore brands, most are dupes. I recently picked up the L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara, it's pink packaging attracting me instantly, but also reminding me of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Though I had heard decent reviews about it, I had yet to try it out and decide on my own whether it lives up to its claim, or is just a Too Faced dupe.

Opening up the packaging and inspecting the mascara wand it again seemed too much like the Too Faced mascara, and has a fanned out brush with soft and flexible bristles, perfect for fluffy gorgeous lashes. With a pretty good packaging, of course, as L'Oreal is a renowned makeup and skincare brand, and never produces anything tacky looking, the mascara at first seems like a pretty good buy. The brand claims that the dense brush can build volume, length and curl the lashes, while the product has ingredients including beeswax and jojoba oil, which makes the lashes soft as well. And so I went on to test this on my lashes, and I was not disappointed. It instantly gave my lashes a pick-me-up and added glitz and some seductive glamour to them.

Available in three shades and a waterproof version as well, the L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascaram keeps the lashes lifted and curled, and adds on pretty good volume too. My lashes are not heaven sent, neither are thin or sparse, but the mascara made them look amazing and gorgeous, instantly fanning them out for a sultry look and feel. With the hourglass wand and the creamy moisturizing formula, the L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara sure does joins the list of the best drugstore mascaras, and for the price tag of $11, it is also a pretty good deal, not heavy on the pocket, and almost feels like luxury in a less cost. So, on your next drugstore trip, if you are looking for a decent mascara, do try the L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise, and you won't be disappointed.
