Alanui Spring/Summer 2022 Campaign

Italian knitwear brand Alanui brings lots of fun styles for the season, and showcases them in the Spring/Summer 2022 Campaign. Photographed by Giampaolo Sgura, the set of images star Malika El Maslouhi, Birgit Kos, Jibriil Ollow, and Jass Reemann, lensed in a studio setting. Dressed in vibrant and hippie bohemian inspired looks, the cast poses as if on an exotic island, going along with the campaign's concept of travel and happiness.

Alanui, a Hawaiian word, roughly translating to 'large path', brings the brand’s signature sweaters in a vivacious palette of bright hues and fun patterns. of colors and patterns. The vibrant 1980s also serve as an inspiration, and the models dress to impress, with their looks accessorized with knit bucket hats, fringed bags, and embellished sandals. Alanui also displays its commitment to the spirit of wanderlust, and highlights its values and the wish to learn about, and explore, not only borderlands but the various dimensions of reality and humanity.

“What I wanted to portray in this campaign for Alanui was enthusiasm. I have a positive vision on life, I’m a great optimist, I love to portray happiness with my photography. I always try to recreate a fun environment, making everyone smile and capture exactly these moments in the models looks. When I think about islands, I imagine the joy when going on adventures with your loved ones, laying at the beach by the ocean, eating some good seafood or getting energized by the sun”. states Giampaolo Sgura
