Enlisting top photographer Steven Meisel, Alexander McQueen's new campaign features a cast of diverse faces, including fresh to certified stars. Starring Awar Odhiang, Lucia Fairfull, Celina Ralph, Sora Choi, Anok Yai, Arta Gee, Lara Stone, Eny Jaki, Wali Deutsch, Jill Kortleve, Cassie Wong, Fran Summers, Achenrin Madit, Florence Nicholls, Guinevere Van Seenus, Modupe Oluwalade, and Jennifer Ball, the framed studio-shot portraits show off creative director Sarah Burton’s designs to perfection.
The upcoming season's style from the high-end British fashion house range from leather jackets to tailored suits and flared skirts, and the models also highlight embellished heels, combat boots, and chunky sneakers for footwear. Many of the models doll up in sparkling necklaces and statement earrings, and instantly capture the eye.
“I love the idea of the McQueen woman being a storm chaser, of the qualities of storm chasing uniting the passionately individual community of characters wearing the clothes. They inhabit the same universe and the clothes are inspired by and made for them,” Burton shares about the inspiration behind the spring collection.
