High-end fashion brand Gucci rings into the new year with a fabulous new campaign. Presenting the Year of the Tiger Campaign, the Chinese New Year serves as inspiration for Gucci’s new collection, also celebrating 2022. Photographed by Angelo Pennetta, the set of images have the models posing alongside tigers in a glamorous setting.
The Gucci Year of the Tiger collection offers an array of designs that include ready-to-wear, accessories, and footwear adorned with the mighty and majestic animal.
Created by creative director Alessandro Michele, designs include a bucket hat, printed maxi skirt, and tiger illustrated graphic t-shirts featuring interlocked Gs. Footwear designs include canvas printed sneakers and leather loafers. Christopher Simmonds has provided art direction for the shoot, which is the epitome of style and fashion.
"Tigers were photographed and filmed in a separate safe environment complying to Gucci’s policies and then featured within the campaign,” the brand shares about the shoot.
"In celebration of the holiday, different versions of the animal define a curated selection of ready-to-wear and accessories—highlighting the multifaceted nature of the Gucci universe. Rich with significance for the House, the animal expresses the Creative Director’s fascination with the beauty of nature,” the fashion label shares.
