Louis Vuitton Cruise 2023 Fashion Show

Louis Vuitton presented its Cruise 2023 Runway Show in San Diego, California, with both the collection and the location set as sci-fi and cinematic. Nicolas Ghesquière's latest collection is a merge of both cinematic and real life, and the runway show was presented at The Salk Institute for Biological studies, an impressive presentation of American architecture designed by Louis Khan. The Louis Vuitton Cruise 2023 Collection takes inspiration by the sun, and offers a selection of fashion forward look. The designs speak of the of trends to come, and the ready-to-wear pieces display a strong emphasis on LV's core. The French high-end brand's classic and iconic handbags make a statement, and along with the redesigned handbags, the collection also keeps a keen focus on LV footwear, offers new sneaker styles, and chunky boots with oversized soles.

The Louis Vuitton Cruise 2023 Fashion Show was opened by singer Lous and the Yakuza, joined on the runway by athletes Dalilah Muhammad and Eileen Gu along with top models Akon Changkou, Sasha Pivovarova and Emm Arruda to name a few. The styling for the show was done by Ghesquiere’s close friend and collaborator Marie-Amélie Sauvé, while makeup was done by legendary makeup artist Pat MacGrath with hair by Duffy.
