Digitally Reimagined Marilyn Monroe covers CR Fashion Book China

CR Fashion Book China has digitally reimagined the gorgeous late actress Marilyn Monroe for its fourth issue. The CGI images are created in partnership with Web3 startup Amethyst and Authentic Brands Group, which also owns Monroe’s estate. For the cover story, Monroe is styled into trendy high-end brands like Miu Miu, Fendi, Balenciaga, Thom Browne, Balmain and David Koma, along with garments from digital fashion houses Auroboros and Tribute Brand. With the styling works of Gaultier Desandre Navarre, with curation from Carine Roitfeld, the eight cover images will also later be sold as NFT’s on Amethyst’s platform. Recently, Kim Kardashian came under fire for wearing Marilyn Monroe's iconic Jean Louis dress to the 2022 Met Gala.
