Margaret Qualley poses for the Chanel Coco Beach 2022 Campaign

Luxury fashion house Chanel puts together its Chanel Coco Beach Collection 2022, and features it in a campaign starring actress and the brand’s ambassador Margaret Qualley. Photographed by fashion photographer Lachlan Bailey, the campaign celebrates art de vivre and the Mediterranean, and is true to the spirit of the brand’s Coco Beach line, first presented back in 2018 by the late designer Karl Lagerfeld, as a tribute to Gabrielle Chanel’s love of the sea, the sun and the great outdoors, and even pearls. The collection offers a selection of elegant and comfortable looks, and designs that are created from a lightweight version of tweed.

Posing for the shoot, standing in front of a stone wall and the branches of a bougainvillea, 'Maid' star Margaret Qualley is dressed in a delicate ecru top with flounces. She also highlights a one-piece swimsuit laced up with pearls. Seen in the campaign is a big black satin bag interlaced with grosgrain ribbon, while Qualley also wears fluid tweed trousers in black with a white trim. Another image has the star dressed in a checked dress in two-tone black and white enriched with pink and coral; also available as a shirt-jacket and a wrap-skirt ensemble.

Am I allowed to just say this collection plus some sneakers, sunscreen and a few books? Because that is my dream scenario. To me, this collection is so fun because it represents summer, vacation and freedom.
