Gucci Attache Bag Campaign 2022

The Gucci Attache Bag is a design that is all about the1970s. The Italian brand's latest advertising campaign shows off the versatility of the bags, and anyone, regardless of gender, can sport the unique Gucci design. Attache, close in meaning to the French word for 'hook', and the Gucci bag has a half moon shape that includes a metal 'G' for closing the hook, attaching two of the corners. Creative director Alessandro Michele launched the design in the Gucci Love Parade collection, first presented in Los Angeles. The design comes in both a medium and a small size, and it can be worn either on the shoulder or across the body. Art director and photographer Max Siedentopf has lensed the Gucci Attache Campaign, which has the cast posing in an urban setting. The Gucci Web has given a peculiar contrast to a color palette of red, burnt orange, green, and canvas print. Makeup artist Camilla Romagnoli has worked on the models, while Andrea Martinelli has done their hair for the campaign.

I was fascinated by the bag after having laid upon it a casual and fleeting glance while I was in the archive… Immediately, a desire took shape to reinterpret it and include it in the Love Parade collection for the fashion show in Los Angeles because its silhouette, typical of the Seventies, projects a very modern attitude that convinced me to draw out an eclectic symbol that could express the idea of a dual function.
