Cher dazzles as a sci-fi diva in Balmain's Fall/Winter 2022 Blaze Handbag Campaign—armor-like glamour meets timeless iconography.

Music legend Cher, 73, is the star of the Balmain Blaze Handbag Campaign for Fall/Winter 2022. After appearing at Balmain’s Spring 2023 show in Paris this September, the icon poses for the shoot which have her featuring as a sci-fi goddess in futuristic inspired images. An Le directed the advertisements for the fall-winter 2022 season, which featured her as a sci-fi goddess, and Cher, who had debuted the catsuit that creative director Olivier Rousteing had designed for her at the fashion show, wears it for the campaign images and the accompanying film. The Blaze bag is a glamorous design which features hardware and zipper details, giving the impression that it’s made of armor. Michail Pelêt and Victoria Pavon have provided the artistic direction for the campaign, while Serena Radaelli is in charge of the hair, and Francesca Tolot is responsible for the makeup for Cher for the shoot.
