BTS member Kim Seok-jin, professionally known as Jin, looked adorable and handsome as he showed off his new buzz-cut. The K-Pop heartthrob opted for a shorter, more close-shaven look ahead of his mandatory military service period, and posted a picture of his new style on Weverse. His massive fan following had mixed reactions to his new look, as it is a far cry from his long fringe that everyone is used to, and loves him in.

Captioning the post, the star wrote, "ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 생각보단 기여움," which roughly translates to "hahaha cuter than I thought." Majority of the fans commented in agreement, expressing how much they loved his new cut. "WWH (world wide handsome) even w a buzz cut," one comment read. "SO CUTE 💜," another said.

Jin is the first member of the group to enlist and begin his mandatory military service, with the rest of the members to soon follow suit. The band's label has said that they do plan to reunite in 2025, when everyone has completed their time in the army.

Though other BTS members are known to change their hairstyles quite often, Jin is the member who does so the least. The boyband's hair looks have been their identity, and they have become known for it. V sported cool green bangs back in 2015, RM sported Barbie-pink hair-color trend the year it became all the hype, and Jimin has worn his hair bright-yellow in the past.
