Mugler spiral curve 01 bag designed by Casey Cadwallader

Casey Cadwallader, who has been associated with the Mugler brand as the creative director, since December 2017, has debuted his first-ever handbag for the French fashion house. Designed along with Swedish creative Matilda Venczel who is the brand’s accessories designer, the purse is named the Spiral Curve 01, and is a fresh new design. The handbag comes in a curved, twisted silhouette, and reminds one of Mugler’s body-hugging suits and trousers, and is available in three sizes.

Mugler’s Spiral Curve 01 was first presented on the Fall/Winter 2023 runway at Paris Couture Week, and comes in an array of colorways, including black and white, pastel pink, metallic silver, denim and more. The design also comes in another version that is embellished with gems throughout. Crafted with responsibly sourced high-frequency embossed calf leather, the handbag features Mugler's signature branding on the front. Priced from €1,490 to €2,790 EUR (approximately $1,620 to $3,034 USD), the Spiral Curve 01 is available in Small, Medium and Large sizes on Mugler’s website.
