Kim Kardashian is the one to set trends and make fashion statements. Her fashion choices are known to be trend-setters and she is the original queen of contouring. Recently, Kim has been showing off a dramatic weight loss, and her beauty looks are changing too. Newly single, and perhaps ready to party and mingle, the business entrepreneur has been showing off fun and sexy looks. In a new post shared on social media network Instagram, the mother of four, sported a popular 2000s hair trend - long, face-framing bangs. Instead of dramatic curtain bangs which are the hype these days, Kim's look was reminiscent of pre-makeover Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada.
The reality star showed off the new hairstyle on her Instagram Stories, while wearing a variety of Skims pieces. "We cut bangs, guys," Kardashian is heard saying in one clip, while Ariana Grande's "Imagine" plays in the background, and the business mogul continues to chat with her stylist Chris Appleton, who is off-camera.
Kim's fresh cut comes just in time for the Skims Valentine's Day pop-up at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles. In another Instagram post, she wrote about how meaningful this event is to her. "Having my own [Skims] pop-up store at the Century City mall means the world to me in so many ways. This was the mall my friends and I would beg our parents to go hang out at every weekend growing up. That little girl never dreamed I would have my own store here and I couldn't be more proud of my entire [Skims] team for making my wildest dreams come true."
Kim's new face-framing bangs are also a nostalgia trip, and the star sported the same look when she was first introduced to the world back in 2006. Y2K trends are already making a comeback, and with Kim's new hairdo, one can say for sure the 2000s are back in style.
