Maya Hawke, renowned for her role in Netflix's "Stranger Things" as Robin, mesmerized attendees as she graced the Cannes Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of "Asteroid City."

Embracing a retro '60s vibe, the actress exuded elegance in a custom-designed Prada gown. Complementing her ensemble, Hawke accessorized with blue leather elbow-length gloves, white patent leather boots, and a dazzling Chopard diamond necklace.

Capturing the joyful spirit of the evening, Hawke twirled on the red carpet alongside her "Asteroid City" co-star Rupert Friend. Directed by the acclaimed Wes Anderson, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, and Tilda Swinton.

Set in 1955, "Asteroid City" marks Anderson's 11th feature film, following the success of "The French Dispatch" in 2021. The story unfolds in a small desert town, where students and parents come together for a Junior Stargazer convention, immersing audiences in Anderson's unique cinematic world.

The Cannes Film Festival stands as a prestigious platform celebrating international cinema, renowned directors, filmmakers, actors, and cultural productions. With a rich history dating back to 1946, the festival is currently in its 76th edition.

From May 16 to 27, films in the official selection compete across categories such as "In Competition," "Un Certain Regard," "Out of Competition," "Midnight Screenings," "Cannes Premiere," and "Special Screenings." Over the years, outstanding films like "Parasite," "Pulp Fiction," "Blue Is the Warmest Color," and many others have been honored with the festival's coveted Palme d'Or award, cementing their place in cinematic excellence.
