Lauren Sanchez recently shared intimate details about her engagement to Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos with Vogue, including the moment she first saw her stunning pink-diamond ring. The 53-year-old former journalist recounted how Bezos, 59, proposed to her at sea during a romantic dinner under the stars in May.

In the interview, Lauren described how Bezos had cleverly hidden the ring under her pillow, leading to a surprise discovery at bedtime. "When he opened the box, I think I blacked out a bit," Lauren admitted, speaking of the unforgettable moment. The couple, engaged for just five months, graced the magazine's December issue with glamorous shots taken in West Texas, where Bezos sported a cowboy hat.

Discussing their wedding plans, Sanchez revealed that they were still contemplating the scale and location of the event. While they are undecided about the wedding specifics, Lauren is currently more focused on planning Bezos's 60th birthday party in January.

Regarding the wedding preparations, Bezos humorously remarked that he wouldn’t be heavily involved: "Oh, God, no. Do I look that dumb?" he said with a laugh. When asked about changing her last name, Lauren enthusiastically confirmed she would become Mrs. Bezos.
