Zoë Kravitz Opens Up About Post-Breakup Relationship with Ex-Fiancé Channing Tatum

Four months after their split, Zoë Kravitz is sharing where she stands with her ex-fiancé, Channing Tatum. In a candid interview with Elle for her March 2025 cover story, the actress and director revealed that she still holds a deep affection for Tatum, despite the end of their romantic relationship.
When asked if their breakup had affected her feelings about their collaborative film, Blink Twice, Kravitz was quick to dismiss the idea. “Not at all,” she told the magazine. “I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much.”
Kravitz, 36, expressed pride in Tatum’s performance in the 2024 psychological thriller, which she directed. “It warms my heart,” she said of hearing praise for his work. “I’m so happy that all of it happened. I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”
She went on to praise Tatum, 44, both as a person and as an actor, highlighting his growing confidence and versatility. “He has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him,” Kravitz shared. “He’s got a lot to offer, so I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that.”
The former couple, who met in 2021 while working on Blink Twice, got engaged in 2023 but called off their relationship in October 2024. A source close to the pair told Page Six at the time that the split was amicable, stating, “There was no bad blood. They really just grew apart and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways.”
Despite their breakup, Kravitz and Tatum are set to reunite on screen for the upcoming alien-invasion comedy, Alpha Gang, which is scheduled to begin filming this spring.
Kravitz, the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, was previously married to actor Karl Glusman from 2019 to 2021. Tatum, known for his role in Magic Mike, was married to Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan from 2009 to 2019, and the two share an 11-year-old daughter, Everly.
