Doja Cat’s Leopard-Print Gown Steals the Show at Oscars 2025

Doja Cat brought her signature bold style to the 2025 Oscars red carpet, turning heads in a plunging leopard-print sequined corset dress custom-made by Olivier Rousteing. Inspired by a 1953 Pierre Balmain design, the mermaid gown required 5,600 hours of work and a team of 46 artisans to create, as reported by Vogue.

The Say So singer, 29, paired the daring look with mixed-metal jewelry, including a dazzling gold necklace and silver earrings, adding a touch of glamour to her wild ensemble. This isn’t the first collaboration between Doja Cat and Rousteing, as she previously performed at the Balmain music festival in 2021, celebrating his 10th anniversary as the label’s creative director.

Doja Cat is set to perform at the Oscars ceremony, hosted by Conan O’Brien, alongside her Born Again collaborators Raye and Lisa. The performance promises to be a “show-stopping celebration of cinema,” according to the Academy’s Instagram.

Meanwhile, Blackpink’s Lisa opted for a sleek tuxedo look on the red carpet, showcasing her unique style in a black Markgong blazer, white button-up, and wide-leg pants.

Doja Cat’s Oscars dress reportedly took 5,600 hours to make.
