Amelia Gray Spotlights Stella McCartney’s Vegan Elyse Platforms in Futuristic Exotics
Amelia Gray debuts Stella McCartney’s vegan Elyse platforms in mycelium python and apple-based croc—fashion made with zero animal impact.
Amelia Gray is the new face of Stella McCartney’s iconic Elyse platform, bringing fresh energy to the label’s cruelty-free classic. First launched in 2014, the Elyse shoe became a favorite among stars like Beyoncé and Oprah thanks to its elevated sole and wearable comfort.
This season, Stella McCartney continues to push material innovation. Amelia fronts a new capsule featuring four limited-edition styles, including sleek grey and navy tones, plus two bold alternatives to traditional exotics. One pair mimics python using mycelium (a mushroom-based material), while another replicates crocodile leather using apple waste.
Each Elyse pair is crafted in Italy with FSC-certified wood, saw-tooth soles, and entirely vegan components—right down to the glue. The result is sustainability without compromise, wrapped in style and edge.
