Cristiano Ronaldo Proposes to Georgina Rodriguez With 20+ Carat Diamond Ring

Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has officially popped the question to longtime love Georgina Rodriguez—and the engagement ring is as extravagant as you’d expect.

The 29-year-old model shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a close-up of her massive oval-cut diamond with the caption: "Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas" ("Yes, I do. In this and all my lives"). Jewelry experts estimate the showstopping center stone weighs over 20 carats, flanked by two smaller (but still impressive) 1-carat ovals.

Kegan Fisher of Frank Darling analyzed the ring’s design, noting its "platinum three-stone setting with delicate double-claw prongs" for a vintage-meets-modern look. "Triple-oval settings are rare," she added, "but this one balances the massive center stone perfectly."

The couple first met in 2016 when Rodriguez worked at a Gucci store—a real-life Cinderella story she later chronicled in her Netflix series I Am Georgina. "He’d pick me up after work in a Bugatti," she recalled. "My coworkers couldn’t believe it!" Ronaldo joked: "I’d wait outside in flashy cars, then we’d escape to our own world."

Since getting together, they’ve built a beautiful family, raising Ronaldo’s eldest son Cristiano Jr. (from a previous relationship) along with their four children: twins Eva and Mateo, plus daughters Alana and Bella.
