Lindsay Lohan Pays Homage to Freaky Friday with Bedazzled Guitar Purse at UK Premiere
Lindsay Lohan brings Freaky Friday nostalgia to the red carpet with a bedazzled guitar purse and glam look at the Freakier Friday UK premiere.
Lindsay Lohan just gave Freaky Friday fans the ultimate throwback — and she did it in serious style.
At the UK premiere of Freakier Friday, Lohan, 39, hit the red carpet with a sparkling tribute to her original character, Anna Coleman. The star carried a crystal-encrusted mini guitar purse by Judith Leiber — a clear nod to Anna’s garage band, Pink Slip. The $5,195 clutch, shaped like an electric guitar, is already sold out.
Styled by Andrew Mukamal, Lohan wore a shimmering lilac dress adorned with crystal detailing across the neckline, midriff, and hem — a glam echo of Anna’s final concert look in the original film. She finished the ensemble with Manolo Blahnik heels, blending punk nostalgia with red carpet polish.
Lohan’s been on a fashion streak while promoting the sequel. In Los Angeles, she carried a Leiber microphone purse with a custom pink Miu Miu gown. In NYC, she channeled Sex and the City in a Jacquemus tutu dress, and even honored The Parent Trap with back-to-back nods to Annie and Hallie in Balmain and Roberto Cavalli.
She’s also been spotted repping Pink Slip with two graphic tees during press.
Freakier Friday hits theaters August 8 — and judging by the looks so far, the style tributes are just getting started.
