Amelia Gray Turns Heads in Electric-Blue Fur at The Beauty Premiere in New York City
Amelia Gray stuns in an electric-blue Gucci fur coat and silk slip dress at The Beauty premiere in New York City.
Last night at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art, Amelia Gray stepped onto the carpet alongside co-stars Bella Hadid, Rebecca Hall, Ashton Kutcher, Evan Peters, and Jeremy Pope for the premiere of FX’s The Beauty. The Ryan Murphy–produced body horror series dives into the darker side of chasing perfection, and the fashion on display felt just as bold, with Gray setting the tone in a striking Gucci look that refused to blend in.
For the occasion, Gray turned to Gucci, wearing pieces from Demna’s debut collection for the house, titled La Famiglia. The standout was her oversized electric-blue shearling coat, a plush statement piece with rippling texture along the sleeves and hem. Draped casually over her shoulders, the coat delivered instant drama, its vivid color popping against the muted tones of the red carpet backdrop.
Beneath the outerwear, Gray wore a light brown silk-satin slip minidress that balanced the coat’s volume with softness. The dress featured delicate floral lace detailing across the front and hem, thin shoulder straps, and a subtle back zip closure. Mostly hidden at first glance, the mini revealed itself as she moved, offering a romantic contrast to the boldness of the fur.
Accessories were kept sleek and intentional. Gray added a crystal Gucci Staffa necklace that caught the light just enough without competing with the coat. She finished the look with classic black pointed-toe pumps, grounding the outfit and tying in with her dark, loose waves that fell effortlessly around her shoulders.
The overall effect felt modern and confident, the kind of look that relies on one strong piece to carry the entire outfit. While The Beauty explores the darker side of aesthetic obsession, Amelia Gray’s premiere style leaned firmly into fashion joy, showing that sometimes all it takes is a daring coat to steal the spotlight.
