The actress, best known for playing Veronica Lodge on Riverdale and for films like Do Revenge and Upgraded, is now stepping into action territory as Teela in the new Masters of the Universe film.

For the Berlin red carpet, Mendes wore a vintage Roberto Cavalli leopard-print gown with a fitted, body-skimming shape and a dramatic floor-length train. The animal print instantly connected to the wild, warrior-like energy of the film, especially with the premiere backdrop featuring a giant skull entrance. It felt theatrical without turning into costume.
