Claire Foy Wears Matières Fécales FW26 at Savage House SXSW London Premiere
Claire Foy wore Matières Fécales FW26 with Swarovski jewelry and Louboutin pumps at the Savage House premiere during SXSW London.
Claire Foy made one of the more unexpected red carpet moves at the Savage House premiere during SXSW London at The Barbican, stepping out in a full Matières Fécales Fall 2026 look that mixed crisp tailoring with high-drama volume. The British actress, best known for her Emmy-winning role as Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown, stars in Savage House alongside Richard E. Grant, with SXSW London describing the film as a sharp satirical takedown of the upper classes.
Her outfit played with contrast from top to bottom. The look started with an oversized white button-down shirt, worn open at the neckline and styled with exaggerated split cuffs. Over it sat a structured silver-grey corset panel, pulling the waist in before exploding into a huge grey tulle skirt. The skirt brought all the drama, with layers of sheer netting creating that wide, almost ballerina-meets-couture silhouette.
Claire styled the look with Christian Louboutin x Matières Fécales pumps, keeping the footwear sharp and clean under the volume. The pointed white shoes helped balance the oversized skirt without fighting it.
Jewelry added a futuristic finish. She wore Swarovski Hyperbola Ear Cuffs with Swarovski Dextera Hoop Earrings, giving the look a cool metallic edge. Her hair was slicked back into a neat, polished style, letting the sculptural outfit do most of the talking. Makeup stayed soft but defined, with clean skin, a muted lip, and lightly framed eyes.
It is not the safest premiere look, but that is exactly why it works. For a film with a bold, satirical tone, Claire’s outfit felt theatrical, strange, and completely memorable.
