Maisie Williams in custom burgundy Ellie Misner gown at the Practical Magic 2 London premiere

Maisie Williams brought a rich dose of burgundy glamour to the European premiere of Practical Magic 2 in London on August 26, 2026. The actress, best known worldwide for playing Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, stepped onto the blue carpet at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in a custom creation by Ellie Misner that came with a rather special fashion reference.

Her deep oxblood-burgundy gown was inspired by a look Sandra Bullock wore to the 1999 Los Angeles premiere of Forces of Nature. Rather than recreating the original outfit exactly, the custom design gave the reference a more sculptural and contemporary red-carpet finish. The sleeveless gown featured a clean boat neckline and a close-fitting bodice, while the satin skirt was dramatically draped and gathered around the hips before flowing into a long train. The rich fabric caught the light beautifully and gave the look movement as Maisie posed on the carpet.

She kept the rest of the styling elegant enough to let that striking colour do most of the talking. Maisie's dark hair was swept into a soft, slightly undone updo with loose pieces framing her face, adding a relaxed touch to the polished look.

The jewellery added plenty of sparkle. She wore pieces from Bvlgari, including Cabochon and Serpenti bracelets, Tubogas earrings, and High Jewellery rings. A diamond-and-gemstone necklace provided a particularly eye-catching finishing touch at the neckline. She also carried a sleek clutch from Roger Vivier.

The premiere itself was a major reunion for the magical franchise, bringing together returning stars Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman with newer cast members including Maisie and Joey King. Practical Magic 2 continues the story of the Owens family nearly three decades after the beloved 1998 film.
